Bloombreed Schools earns global recognition at the World Affairs Challenge Championship, with student teams ranking 8th and 10th in the high school division for innovative global solutions.

Bloombreed Schools has once again demonstrated excellence on the global stage following an official message of commendation received from the World Affairs Challenge (WAC) team in recognition of the outstanding performance of its students at the 2026 Global Championship.

The World Affairs Challenge is an internationally recognised programme that empowers middle and high school students to identify pressing global issues and develop innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions capable of creating meaningful impact within communities around the world.

Representing Bloombreed Schools at this year’s championship, students presented two exceptional projects focused on real-world challenges:

  • SafeRoute Innovators — a project addressing child safety and secure movement within school communities
  • Eco-Block Innovators — an initiative focused on environmental sustainability and eco-friendly solutions

Both teams delivered remarkable performances on the global stage, earning scores of 94.3 and 90 out of 115 respectively. These outstanding results secured 8th and 10th positions globally within the high school division, placing Bloombreed among top-performing schools in the competition.

In feedback shared by the judges, the SafeRoute Innovators project received special recognition for its creativity, relevance, practicality, and strong potential for scalability across schools and communities.

An additional update from the WAC team revealed that the 2026 championship featured a more selective cohort this year, comprising 33 high school teams and 117 total teams across both middle and high school categories. The clarification further confirmed that Bloombreed’s rankings were achieved specifically within the high school division, where teams were evaluated separately by age category.

The organisers also noted that, by standard practice, only the top three schools are publicly featured on the organisation’s official website, making the commendation received by Bloombreed even more noteworthy and affirming the quality of the students’ work and presentation.

This achievement reflects Bloombreed School’s commitment to nurturing globally minded, innovative, and solution-driven learners equipped with the skills needed to address the challenges of an ever-evolving world.

Beyond academic excellence, the success of the students at the World Affairs Challenge highlights the school’s emphasis on creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, leadership, and social impact—qualities essential for future global leaders.

Bloombreed Schools celebrates the dedication, hard work, and ingenuity of the participating students and staff whose efforts made this achievement possible. The school remains committed to providing learners with opportunities that inspire innovation, global awareness, and meaningful engagement with real-world issues.

Congratulations to our outstanding World Affairs Challenge teams for making Bloombreed proud on the global stage.
