At Bloombreed Schools, we believe that true education gives every child a voice and sometimes, that voice speaks most powerfully through art.

Today, we proudly celebrate Alanyingi C., who secured 2nd place at the National Gallery of Art Inter-School Drawing Competition – a competition designed to discover and nurture the creative potential of young artists across Nigeria.

Organized by the National Gallery of Art, this competition is part of a broader national effort to identify artistic talent early, develop creative expression, and position art as a driver of cultural and economic growth. It brings together students from different schools and backgrounds, challenging them to interpret meaningful themes through visual storytelling.

Against this competitive backdrop, Alanyingi’s artwork, themed “The Unseen Suffering,” stood out — not just for its technique, but for its depth, emotion, and ability to communicate a powerful message. Her work reflects what art truly represents: a mirror to society and a voice for experiences often left unheard.

Her outstanding performance earned her a ₦150,000 cash prize, a remarkable recognition of both her talent and the impact of her message.

This achievement goes beyond a win, it is a reflection of the environment we continue to build at Bloombreed Schools. An environment where:

  • Creativity is nurtured alongside academic excellence
  • Students are encouraged to think deeply and express boldly
  • And every learner is given the platform to discover and develop their unique strengths

In a world where innovation is increasingly driven by creativity, platforms like this competition remind us that art is not just expression, it is influence, identity, and impact.

We are incredibly proud of Alanyingi, not just for coming second, but for representing Bloombreed Schools with excellence on a regional stage.

Congratulations, Alanyingi.
Your voice has been seen, your story has been heard, and your spotlight is well deserved.
